Breastfeeding Basics....This class
is for anyone in any stage of pregnancy and it covers the most important aspects of nursing including LATCH, what to expect
the first 48 hours, the "MAGIC" 2 week mark, the first 4-6 weeks, how to avoid nipple confusion, and "Warning"
signs and symptoms. This class is 1 1/2-2 hours. The cost is $50.00 and requires you hold your spot with a simple
phone call or email. I keep this class small so that you feel comfortable to ask questions.
Pumping Basics.......This
class is for those of you who are planning on pumping or maybe those of you who are currently pumping. You may
choose to come before the birth of your baby or after (I recommend if this is your first breastfeeding experience to come
after). I will cover ways to make pumping work best for your situation, how to keep a good supply, ways to store
your milk, signs of trouble, and more. I will also dedicate a portion of time to questions. Please allow 1 1/2-2
hours for this class. The cost of this class is $50 and requires pre-registration to hold your spot. I prefer
you bring your pump if you have one.
Cloth Diapering 101-This is a FREE
information type of class offered to anyone who is interested in learning more about cloth diapering options. You will
hear all the latest trends in cloth diapering, supplies needed, options in styles and cost. You will also be able to
hear from those moms who are currently using cloth diapers and get their feelings on which diapers they like the most. Anyone
is welcome to attend from parents to grandparents, aunts to day care providers. Yes, I said it DAY CARE PROVIDERS....
You will also get information on our diapering program and our trade-in policy. You must call or e-mail me to hold your
spot in class (this is just so I know how many will be attending)...again IT IS FREE!!
